“Testing Analyst” is required for a Multinational Bank located in Cairo.
Job Purpose:
As a Testing Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our banking systems and applications through rigorous testing and analysis. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in testing methodologies and a passion for the banking industry.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers and end-users to identify and document testing requirements.
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report any issues or risks to stakeholders.
• Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve any reported defects.
• Continuously identify and propose improvements to testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in testing and quality assurance.
• Conduct testing on software, websites, and other technical products to identify and resolve bugs, defects and other potential issue.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing
• Banking experience is a plus (T24 is preferrable)
• Backend “API” testing is mandatory using swagger & postman collection.
• Performance testing using JMeter / Visual studio & other tools.
• Knowledge in working with JIRA & x-ray as a test management tools.
• Good knowledge in test automation
• Very good analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of the software development and testing process
• Good reporting skills
• Very good knowledge in software testing types and techniques
• Knowledge in Agile methodologies and practices
