Position: Purchasing Manager
1- GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Purchasing Manager is responsible to source equipment, goods, and services, as well as managing vendors.
2- DUTIES:
1- Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
2- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
3- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
4- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
5- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
6- Any Additional duties requested by the direct manager.
3- JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
• Education:
– Degree in business administration or a related field.
• Experience:
– 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Skills:
– Ability to analyze and solve problems and to make evaluative judgments
-High knowledge of the local market, covering goods and services.
– Ability to work effectively in a team
– Strong people skills.
– Leadership and communication skills.
– Very good command in English and Arabic language, both spoken and written.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office .
