Paymob is hiring: Legal Senior Specialist
As a #Legal Senior Specialist at Paymob, you will play a critical role in ensuring legal compliance and providing expert advice on a wide range of legal matters. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
– Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
You will be responsible for preparing, examining, and finalizing various contracts and legal agreements to protect the company’s interests while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
– Conducting in-depth legal research will be part of your duties to assess the legal implications of ongoing and future projects, ensuring the company’s actions are in line with legal requirements.
– Examine the legal aspects of introducing new products and services to the market, mitigating potential risks, and ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
– Handle negotiations with external parties, including clients, vendors, and partners, to achieve favorable outcomes while safeguarding the company’s interests.
– Responsible for the entire lifecycle of legal projects, from initial research and analysis to successful completion, ensuring effective project management.
– Collaborating with various departments and teams within the organization, you will communicate legal requirements, updates, and project-related information effectively to ensure a coordinated effort.
– Great communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
– Flexible, multitasking, and approachable.
– Team player for effective interdepartmental communication.
– Knowledgeable about different legislations and jurisdictions.
– Guide management and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
– Identify legal or contractual issues and develop new approaches.
– Continuously updating your knowledge on national and international laws, regulations, and practices impacting the company will be vital in providing accurate legal counsel.
– Represent the company in legal proceedings.
– Oversee the company’s policy and position on legal matters.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Law.
– A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a corporate lawyer.
– International experience is a must.
– Fintech experience is preferable.
– Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
– Outstanding managerial and negotiation skills.
– Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
