Infection Control Supervisor
Job Description
●Conduct investigations of outbreaks
●Review Collection of inpatient data to detect any suspected infections
●Monitor Analyzing the collected data and give the feedback to the treating physician and the responsible nurse to take the proper actions
●Reporting analysis results of surveillance to IPC Manager to take the proper decisions
● isolate the patients according to Mode of infection
●Give the HN, CN the instructions of the isolation precautions and follow the IPC regulations
●Document the isolation form in the patient’s profile and ensure that the assigned nurse signed on the form
●Posting and announcing the rate healthcare acquired infections in the clinical units
●Develop, review, evaluate and implement infection control policies to improve quality of care.
-● Consult with department and administrative staff on infection control issues.
-● Prepare special and routine reports and perform special projects, including research studies.
-Round in whole hospital to be sure that the employees work a the infection control rules
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree of Medicine or Bachelor Degree of Pharmacy
Professional diploma of infection prevention and control
Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role 7-9 years
education, microbiology, routine practices and additional precautions, surveillance and epidemiology, and research utilization.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
