Engineering Manager is needed to be hired in an International Pharmaceutical Industries Company in Alexandria
Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all engineering functions (projects, maintenance, environmental, HSE) are effectively planned and executed as per quality standards
• Execute the annual repair and maintenance plan, estimate its budget, and follow progress and expenses monthly
• Estimate cost for capital budget management (Capex), set priorities, and follow expenses for production lines, utilities, plant infrastructure, and new projects
• Work to develop company profit by introducing new lines and machine upgrades to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Specify the needed staff for engineering department, working with the HR team to always fulfill the department’s needs
• Effectively manage the engineering staff to fit the workload and keep them updated and well trained, and do the requested orientation for new and current staff, to ensure a satisfactory disciplinary level (technical & personal)
• Develop, deploy, review and update engineering staff with safety requirements, GMP regulations, preventing contamination, QRM, risk assessment, engineering SOPs, HSE instructions, and the related work permits, to ensure adherence and compliance with all the above
• Maximize overall equipment efficiency (OEE), Maximize equipment availability, and Minimize MTBF (mean time between failures) & MTTR (mean time before replacement)
• Do the best to conserve energy and all natural resources as maximum meanwhile committed to environmental protection rules.
• Review all department KPI’s, set plans, and modify to be always achieved
• Work while conserving energy resources to the maximum.
• Work while committed to HSE protection rules
Requirements:
– Min. 15 years of experience including 5 years of experience in managerial position
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
– Pharmaceutical industry background is a must
– Very Good English command
