About the job
Reporting directly Director of Institutional Excellence Unit , the Financial Analyst shall be responsible for all areas relating to financial and Management Accounts at the facility.
Essential Responsibilities
Feasibility studies
Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate viability of investment opportunities and return on investment. Analyses scenarios, perform sensitivity analysis, and present findings to support decision-making.
Analysis of financial indicators
Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures. Identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Provide accurate and timely reports to management.
Prepare periodic financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Provide insightful analysis and commentary on financial performance, key metrics, and variances to budget/forecast.
Contribute to the development of the company’s financial strategies and long-term plans. Provide input on cost optimization, revenue enhancement, and capital allocation decisions.
Identify financial risks and propose mitigation strategies. Monitor market conditions, regulatory changes, and industry trends that may impact the organization’s financial performance.
Evaluating capital expenditures and asset depreciation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including accounting, operations, and executive management
Follow up on the balanced scorecard compliance
Reports as assigned
Position Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Accounting. An advanced degree is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance/cost accounting preferably with manufacturing company ( Plastic manufacturing company preferred)
Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
Excellent Computer literacy (MS Office, profound knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Dynamic 365 & Power BI exposure would be considered an asset)
Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS would be considered an asset
CMA preferred
The incumbent must have a good command of English language. A second language (Arabic) would be a plus.

Strong organizational skills.
PC skills including spreadsheet, presentation software and word processing are necessary.
