Planning Engineer Job Qualification & Requirements

• Must have 4 year degree in Civil Engineering from reputed University.
• Must have minimum of 15 years of planning experience with 8+ years working in Middle East countries as Sr. Planning Engineer, preferably with multinational EPC Contractors.
• Prepare and Submit baseline schedule using Primavera P6 software and coordinate with consultant for approval.
• Must be expert in Primavera P6 software commands, including import/ export, critical path review and resource loading.
• Must be familiar with Equipment & Manpower Resource Productivity.
• Review and understand project contract documents especially terms and conditions pertaining to planning requirement.
• Plan internal meetings for review of project execution as per baseline plan and suggest action items for successful delivery of project.
• Attend meetings with Consultants and Client representative to discuss and agree for the smooth progress of daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
• Review overall project status with Project Engineers, Project Management and Company Management and recommend corrective action when necessary.
• Prepare revise schedule to mitigate delays and obtain Client/ Consultants Approval.
• Prepare claim for Extension of Time as per Contract Requirements.
• Liaise with other Departments Heads to ensure that schedule reports are updated to reflect latest information.
• Prepare and Issue Daily, Weekly and Monthly Reports to Client as per Contract.
