We are looking for a Senior Accountant to an Egyptian subsidiary of the large multinational Group, operating in IT and Digital area. The Group is listed on NYSE and operates in more than 50 countries. Egyptian legal entity started its operations as of April 2022, currently has 100+ employees and continues to grow.
Responsibilities:
1. Accounting
· Maintenance of local accounting books and General Ledger
· Managing AP, AR, FA register, Bank reconciliations, approve purchase orders
· Payroll uploading and payout (calculation is done by outsource service provider)
· Booking entries in local books and in Oracle (corporate ERP)
· Take over local accounting function from external provider to in-house
· E-system user: managing incoming and registration of outcoming invoices
· Develop and managing company accounting policies, incl. expense reports, business travel, etc. Approving expense reports
· Assistance with local-to-US GAAP reconciliation
2. Tax compliance
· Liaising with local outsource provider in respect of the tax returns preparation and other mandatory tax reports, incl. local WHT, VAT, CIT, etc.
· Control of the filing deadlines
· Review tax reports prepared by provider
· Payment of taxes
3. Financial Statements and Audit
· Statutory Financial statements preparation local standards: PL, BS, CF, Notes
· Local financial audit
4. Management reports
· Assistance with YoY, QtQ, margin analysis
Mandatory Skills:

Mandatory Skills Description:
∙ Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Finance and Accounting;
