_ Logistic Supervisor
Job Duties:
· Work closely with transportation providers ensuring efficient and effective execution of defined processes. This includes confirming shipment ETA s, reviewing routing, confirming shipping line, government agencies and port releases, requesting/confirming wire payments, scheduling delivery appointments and dispatching orders.
· As needed, assist in negotiating freight rates with transportation providers, targeting cost reduction, freight savings and service.
· Perform invoicing and allocate freight costs. Coordinate with Operations Managers, Accounting and transportation providers, as needed, to resolve discrepancies.
· Facilitate the shipping of products from the suppliers to our warehouses.
· Coordinate with freight forwarders/ shipping lines/Clearing agency to avoid any delays and reduce conflicts.
· Makes sure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels.
· Manages activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.
· Oversees inventory of goods and vehicles.
· Streamlines shipping and transportation processes.
· Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Main Job Purpose:
Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, solving complex problems residing in the cloud, deploying applications, monitoring operations, and managing enterprise solutions.
Accountabilities
• Plan, implement, and grow cloud infrastructures, then build, release, and manage the configuration of all production systems, and ensure everything that is built is in line with infrastructure as code principles.
• Work closely with Customers, engineers, test engineers, product owners, and managers to understand requirements, adhere to and implement best practices and standards around Cloud Infrastructure, Network & Security.
• Measure, optimize, and tune system performance to ensure that systems will run reliably, securely, and are highly available in a 24/7 production environment.
• Ensure necessary system security by using best in class cloud security solutions (Security Hub).
• Set up a monitoring stack through cloud watch and ELK to ensure stability, reliability, proper logging, and audibility.
• Troubleshoot the system and solve problems across all platform and application domains reported by the monitoring and submitted through the ticketing system of fully documented issues, actions taken, and steps for resolution and coordinate technical resolution of major incidents, production issues to help come up with hotfixes and resolutions.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance and recommend process and architecture improvements on cloud.
Job Requirements:
Education: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering
Experience: • 1-2 years of experience in Cloud.
Technical Skills:
• Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
• Strong experience with using AWS (EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, Route 53, Elastic Cache, Elasticsearch, RDS, SQS, SNS, and others) and experience implementing standard methodologies.
• Strong other clouds (such as Azure, OCI, VMware)
• Strong notions of security best practices (e.g., using IAM Roles, etc.)
• Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, and the ELK stack.
• Experience with Linux Based Operating systems (CentOS, Redhat, and Ubuntu) Linux administration.
• Experience with managing windows operating systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems.
• Experience with the serverless approaches using AWS Lambda is a plus.
• An understanding of writing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), using tools like Cloud Formation or Terraform.
• Strong Experience of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and firewalling.
Work Schedule:
This position follows a shift-based schedule, which includes day, evening, and overnight shifts. The specific shift rotation and hours will be discussed during the interview process.
