“Highway Group Engineer” is required for a Multinational Engineering service Company located in Sheraton

Responsibilities
· Project Manager/ Team leader of large design teams.
· Provide technical guidance within design teams with minimal external guidance.
· Preparing a budget, resourcing, and delivering to the budget and agreed time frame.
· Responsible for the implementation of engineering works in accordance with the project’s work program, organizing and supervising the work of the team, including engineers and draftsmen.
· Organize and supervise the work of the team and provide relevant engineering works and/or advice to the project team, as applicable.
· Responsible for using the effective design of Roads, Airports, preparation of drawings, contract documents, etc.
· Verify that all designs, drawings, and documents are to codes and standards and in accordance with the Firm policies and manuals.
· Coordinate with consulting engineers and/or contractors on all matters necessary for the implementation of the work program of the project.
· Undertake multi Discipline project management with experience in providing full project management and lead consultant duties.
· Apply Atkins Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) standards and Business Management System (BMS).
· Finding new solutions to transport problems
· Planning and supervising new projects
· Preparing tender and contract documents
· Estimating construction costs

Requirements
· Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed College
· Have relevant experience in the region of around 12 to 15 years have solid experience in design and design review roads networks in the Middle East or international projects
· Experienced user of design software likes MX, Civil 3D, Bentley Open Road, and AutoCAD.
· Experience in international Standards like AASHTO Standards
· Experience implementing quality standards and procedures
· Evidence of having successfully delivered highway projects
