Billing Accountant
Main Purpose of Position:
Undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks to help guarantee the company’s revenues. You
will handle the processing of incoming payments along with the issuing of necessary paperwork.
3. Tasks:
● Performs daily billing procedures for one or multiple terminals on multiple billing systems,
including creating approximately 400-500 invoices per month for multiple locations, matching
charges against paperwork, checking for free transfers / storage, and scanning paperwork.
● Enters new customers, contracts, and contract amendments into the billing system and reviews
for accuracy.
● Assists in the collection of Accounts Receivable for multiple Terminals in the Region, and reports
collection status to upper management on a weekly basis.
● Assists the Accountants with the monthly close procedures, including month end reporting
requirements.
● Maintains various Excel spreadsheets at the request of Regional Management (accurately
entering data and consolidating data from multiple sources).
• Working experience with ERP
● Responsible for ensuring KM and customer requirements are satisfied and that billing is timely
and accurate, and done in accordance with set policies and procedures.
● Assists with the preparation of the annual budget as requested by management.
● Assists with gathering / providing data for internal and external audit requests.
● General accounting office administrative duties.
● Various other support functions / reports on an ad-hoc basis as requested by management.
● Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum qualification
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferably – English section.
● 1-5 years of recent billing experience with a heavy volume of invoice processing.
