Logistics Specialist – Spare Parts
Job Description:
1. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the logistics function, ensuring cost effectiveness and timely management of carriage.
2. Coordinate all aspects of shipment transportation.
3. Ensure all shipments are delivered within the required time range.
4. Communicate with Shipping to determine delivery costs, delivery timeframes, and provide appropriate documentation of deliveries.
5. Communicate property shipment details to customers.
Test the initial samples for local parts.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with shipping vendors, obtain and compare quotes of several vendors, compare quotes with cost of using in-house resources, determine safe and economical method for property movement.
7. Review vendors’ invoices for accuracy and ensure alignment with quoted amounts, dispute invoiced amounts as necessary.
8. Report cost analysis file to manager at the end of every quarter/month.
9. Create accurate commercial invoices for all shipments.
10. Ensure logistics is stocked, real time temperature trackers and quilts on hand for consignment.
11. On-Going checking of the stock availability.
12. Managing delivery appointments with our Distribution Center.
13. Tracking and communicating the product deliveries status.
14. Providing daily reporting on performance and analysis.
Job Requirements:
* BSc. in supply chain or equivalent degree.
* 1-3 Years of Experience – Automotive Industry is preferred.
* Excellent knowledge in technical analysis.
* Excellent Communication skills.
* Automotive spare parts background is a huge plus.
* Experience in logistics or supply chain modeling.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced changing environment.
* Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional.
