Industrial Development Authority Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Continuously obtaining and researching IDA policies, guiding factories to obtain optimal tariffs with the optimal localization rate.
• Understand and familiarize oneself with IDA calculation logic, calculate the localization rate of IDA in various factories, and seek solutions for differentiated products.
•Dealing with IDA departments to apply for localization rates and obtain certification.
• Conducting research on the IDA ratio of local competitors, understanding their localization rate level, import customs clearance mode, and tariff level.
• Continuously improve the localization rate of IDA for each product and continuously reduce tariffs to achieve optimal factory cost competitiveness.
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Chinese speaker preferable
• Must have a car.
• Clear military status.
• Work location: 10th of Ramadan (the factory).
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Strong experience in dealing with IDA government departments, or have a background in IDA government departments.
Basic Function:
• IDA policy acquisition and research.
• IDA localization rate calculation.
• IDA localization rate application and certification.
• Competitive IDA ratio research and tariff research.
• Continuous optimization of IDA localization rate and tariffs.
