We are hiring Procurement Specialist, Location: 6 October Industrial Zone
As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Sourcing:
– Identify potential suppliers, conduct market research, and evaluate their capabilities.
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define procurement requirements and specifications.
– Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
2. Vendor Management:
– Establish and maintain relationships with vendors to optimize terms and conditions.
– Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to achieve favorable agreements.
– Monitor vendor performance, address issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.
3. Procurement Process:
– Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to purchase order issuance.
– Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal regulations, and ethical standards.
– Streamline and improve procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Data Analysis:
– Utilize Microsoft Office and Power BI to analyze procurement data and generate meaningful insights.
– Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
– Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost savings through data analysis.
5. Contract Management:
– Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
– Work closely with legal and finance teams to mitigate risks associated with contracts.
– Maintain a comprehensive contract database for reference and reporting.
6. Communication and Collaboration:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and priorities.
– Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and vendors to facilitate smooth procurement processes.
– Provide training and support to end-users on procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
-Minimum 3 years experience in food & beverage field,
– Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in procurement.
Preferred Skills:
– Certification in procurement or supply chain management.
– Experience with ERP systems.
– Familiarity with industry-specific procurement challenges and solutions.
